Hi, I’m Vicki Lind.

For more than 25 years, I’ve helped people prosper: find work that fits, thrive as a solo entrepreneur, and overcome challenges in the workplace.

I have a Masters in Counseling and a Certificate in Human Resource Management.

As a career counselor and job search coach, I have successfully helped people find career direction and jobs that match their values.

I founded A Portland Career which expanded to six associates with a website attracting 1,000 visitors a month. I’ve also helped hundreds of solopreneurs prosper.

With a robust local network, I love to connect clients with folks who can help.

I resonate with the brains and hearts of Creatives, people who want to make a difference, and those who have ADHD.

My connection to people who want to make a difference.

In my three careers, I’m proud to have made a difference in the lives of individuals and their communities. First, I touched lives through early childhood and grade school teaching. Later, I advised and coached adults to complete their degrees.

With my enthusiasm, expertise, and empathy, I’ll help you make effective changes.

My connection to Creatives.

Networking, stand-out portfolios, and novel solutions are the keys to my success with Creative clients (including designers, writers, producers and creative entrepreneurs).

Over the past 20 years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the creative scene in Portland. I love to connect current clients with my past creative clients and the companies they work with.

My Connection to People who Procrastinate

I am a recovering procrastinator and have a particular affinity with people with ADHD.  I can coach you to move ahead towards prosperity through choosing a job that fits, success on the job, or thriving as an entrepreneur.

I’ll be listening to what works for you so we can craft an approach that highlights your strengths to relieve stress as you move forward.
